Migrare
Friday, March 20
8:00 p.m.
Duderstadt Center Video Studio
Migrare is an interdisciplinary and international dance and videography performance that explores the ways refugee and immigrant dance artists are creating work in response to the political situations in their native countries, and the challenges they face in their adopted countries.
This project brings together a large team of international collaborators from a variety of fields and from a breadth of geographical locations, as well as a group of artists from the University of Michigan.
Mario Vircha will direct and dance in Migrare, in partial fulfillment of his Dance MFA thesis. The event is free and open to the U-M community and public. Seating is limited. Please arrive early to ensure a seat. The house will open at 7:30 PM.
