About Ground Connections

Ground Connections builds relationships with diverse partners to promote the integration of DMC resources in academic and civic activities.  

Centering students from all disciplines and backgrounds, we support courses and provide a wide range of learning opportunities in the Gallery, Groundworks, Fabrication Studio, and Design Studio. Our services include consultation, instruction, mentoring and project management. Our program also includes grants, fellowships, public events and special projects. Our program for students offers a wide variety of experiences for learners from all disciplines.

To address our immediate and critical responsibility to promote climate and social justice, we engage, empower and learn from constituents, including those who might not otherwise find their way to the DMC; and we work to carry DMC resources into communities where they might not otherwise find their way.
